Brazil summit: Paulo Morello & Tizian Jost with top drummer Erivelton Silva from Rio. A unique trip through contemporary samba-funk, relaxed bossa nova and earthy north-eastern rhythms on a bebop base.
Fullmoon at a beach, which still bears the heat of the Caribean day, the bitter-sweet memory of a past love, a rumcocktail, to cool the passion and the heat of the past day for a short moment. A couple dancing in the dark corner of an empty bar, having forgotten time and place. All this is Bolero, his essence. A music which joins the taste of exotic flavours with the passion of people that dance away the sorrows of their daily lives.

Since the start of his career in the middle of the 1980’s Tizian Jost performed in the piano trio. The piano trio in Jazz is somehow the classical format. One may compare it to the string quartet in European Classical Music. Double Bass and Drums are not mere accompanist but rather instead dialogue—or better triologue—partners.
